Terms of Service

Effective July 26, 2026

These terms cover this website and the Deep Variance managed inference platform. DeepStack installations are governed by a separate signed agreement, not by this page.

Your account

Keep your account email accurate and your API keys secret. Activity under your keys is your responsibility; if a key may have leaked, tell us at [email protected] and we will rotate it with you.

Acceptable use

  • No unlawful use, and no content you have no right to process.
  • No probing, disrupting, or circumventing the service’s limits or other tenants’ isolation.
  • No reselling API access without a written agreement with us.
  • Open-weight models we serve carry their own licenses; using the platform does not waive them.

Prices and billing

Serverless inference is billed per million tokens at the prices published in our model library; metering records are the source of truth for the bill. Prices can change; changes are announced there before they take effect and never apply retroactively.

The service, honestly

The platform is in early access. Serverless inference is provided as-is, without an uptime guarantee; an enforceable SLA arrives with the provisioned tier and will be part of that tier’s contract. We publish measured performance numbers together with the context they were measured in, and we do not promise numbers we have not measured.

Output

What you build with the platform is yours. Model outputs are generated by open-weight models and can be wrong; you are responsible for how they are used in your product, and they are not professional advice.

Ours and yours

We keep the intellectual property in our software and runtime. You keep yours in your content and prompts, and you grant us only the license needed to process them to serve your requests: nothing wider.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending things

You can stop using the platform and close your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts for breach of these terms, abuse, or non-payment, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive closure (billing for use already made, liability, IP) survive it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Deep Variance’s place of incorporation. We will name the specific law and venue here before the platform leaves early access; until then, raise any issue with us directly and we will work it out in writing.

Changes

We can update these terms; material changes are announced on the site before they take effect. Using the service after a change takes effect means the updated terms apply.
