Privacy Policy

This policy says what Deep Variance collects, why, and what we never do with it. It is written to be read, not scrolled past.

Who we are

Deep Variance Inc. runs deepvariance.com and the Deep Variance inference platform. When this policy says "we", that is who it means. Anything this policy does not answer: [email protected].

The short version

• We never sell or rent personal data.
• Your prompts and outputs are never used to train models.
• DeepStack runs in your network and sends us nothing, unless you switch on optional anonymous telemetry.

What we collect on this website

Until you accept analytics in the cookie banner, this website sets nothing and sends us nothing about your visit. Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser’s local storage, on your device, not with us.

If you accept, we use Google Analytics to collect aggregated usage data: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, the kind of device used, and the approximate region it came from. We use this to decide which pages to improve. Google’s processing of this data is described in its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

When you write to us

If you email us or ask for a pilot, we keep your message, your email address, and what we learn while working together, and we use it to reply and to run the engagement. We do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

If you have a platform account

We store your account email, a hashed form of your API keys (never the keys themselves), and a metering record for each request: token counts, the model used, and timing. Those records are what your bill is made of. They are kept while your account exists and for as long as tax law requires after that.

We do not use your prompts or outputs to train models, and we do not keep them beyond what serving the request requires.

DeepStack installs

DeepStack runs inside your network. Requests, prompts, outputs, and model weights stay there; we do not receive them. The only thing a DeepStack install can ever send us is anonymous operational data, and only if you turn that option on.

Who we share with

We use a small number of service providers to run the business: GPU infrastructure to serve platform requests, and Google Analytics on this website when you have consented. Providers process data only to provide their service to us. Nobody gets your data for advertising, and nobody buys it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. Where the law of your jurisdiction grants you further rights, those apply too.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change is material, we will say so on the site instead of hoping nobody notices.
